When will the venues where each team plays in the Group Phase be determined?
The official Draw will be held on April 29th and will determine the groups as well as the locations where each team will play for Group Phase. Japan and Slovenia have already been allocated to play in Japan.
If I purchase a ticket, does it include a traveling visa?
No, tickets do not automatically include a visa. You need to check the visa regulations for your country of origin into Japan and apply for your visa directly.
I no longer want to be part of the Win For All Team, how do I unsubscribe?
You need to visit register.worldcup.basketball and scroll to the bottom to unsubscribe. You can also click on an email received from FIBA basketball to find the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.
Ticket Information
Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets are already available for purchase at the official website (https://japan.worldcup.basketball/).
What payment methods are accepted?
You can purchase your tickets using a credit card (VISA, Mastercard, JCB, AMEX, DINERS) or PayPay.
When do I have to pay for my orders?
Orders have to be paid immediately upon purchase.
What type of tickets can I buy?
There are different packages available for purchase, and more types of packages and tickets will become available after the draw ceremony and in the months following.
Currently, you can purchase Two Day Pass Packages and Follow my Team Slovenia. You can take a look at these packages at the official ticket website, https://japan.worldcup.basketball/.

I want to follow all my team's games; how can I do that?
The Follow My Team Japan is no longer available for sale, but most of the other Follow My Team Packages are already available and for sale at the official website, https://followmyteam.worldcup.basketball/ Once the draw is held on April 29th, you will know exactly in what venue and country your team is playing.
All Follow My Team Packages include the 5 games where a team plays in the Group Stage.
Slovenia has already been allocated to play in Japan, therefore, you can purchase their Follow my Team Packages here: https://japan.worldcup.basketball/.
How many tickets can I order?
For the ticket packages, a maximum of 8 packages can be ordered per user.
What ticket categories are available?
Currently, only Category 1 tickets are available. After the official draw is held on April 29th, Category 2 tickets will also be available.
Can I choose my seats?
You cannot choose your seat number, however, after the official FIBA World Cup draw is held, all ticket sales will be automatically assigned a seat number upon purchase.
If you have already purchased your tickets, we will assign your seats automatically. Tickets will be assigned by date of purchase.
Are there reduced prices for certain groups, e.g. children, elderly people?
There are no reduced prices available; all tickets are sold at full price. All children, regardless of age, must be in possession of a full priced ticket, if they want to use a seat. If children are under 6 years of age, they can enter the venue for free but will have to sit at their parent’s / guardian’s lap.
How do I buy group tickets?
If you want to make a group purchase of more than 50 tickets for a package, we advise you to contact us via mail tickets@japan.worldcup.basketball so we can help you in this process.
I have special requirements (e.g. requirement of a wheelchair or else); are there special tickets available for me?
All the dedicated seats and tickets for people with special requirements will be on sale after the official draw is held on April 29th. There will be dedicated seats available for all games held in Okinawa Arena.
Are tickets personal or can they be given to another person?
All tickets are associated with the purchaser, and the as owners of the tickets they will have the right to transfer one or all of the tickets to other people, who will then become owners of the ticket.
Purchasers will have access to their tickets in the following months, and they will be able to create an account to manage their tickets.
Do children need a ticket to enter the venue?
All children over the age of 6 are required to purchase a full price ticket. Children under the age of 6 will be allowed to enter the venue without a ticket, but will need to sit in their parent / guardian’s lap and will not have a right to occupy a seat. This will only apply to one child per parent / guardian.
How and when will I receive my tickets?
Once the draw is held on April 29th, everyone who has already purchased tickets will have them available in their accounts (in June 2023, exact day to be confirmed). Instructions on how to access your account will be emailed to you when your tickets are available. When tickets start selling in a numbered format, all clients will receive their ticket immediately after purchase.
Can I resell my Tickets or use them for commercial purposes?
Reselling tickets or using them for commercial purposes is not allowed.
Can I buy or source Tickets from any third party other than official FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 sales outlets?
Currently, official tickets for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 can only be bought at tickets.worldcup.basketball, japan.worldcup.basketball, and followmyteam.worldcup.basketball. If other official vendors become available, they will always be announced on our official website.
Can tickets be refunded?
An order cannot be cancelled; all sales are final. Tickets will only be refunded for causes directly attributable to the organization.
