General Information
When will the venues where each team plays in the Group Phase be determined?
The official World Cup Draw is held on April 29 2023 and this will determine the groups as well as the locations where each team will play for their respective Group games. Gilas Pilipinas and Team USA will play their group games in the following venues:
Gilas Pilipinas: Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City, Philippines (except April 25, when they will be playing in Philippine Arena)
Team USA: Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City, Philippines
If I purchase a ticket, does it include a travel visa?
Tickets do not include entry visa to the Philippines. Please check the Philippine visa regulations for your country of origin and apply for your visa directly. Visit https://www.visa.gov.ph/ for visa application guidelines.

Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets are available for purchase at the official website:

What payment methods are accepted?
All Visa/Mastercard/JCB credit/debit 3D secure cards are accepted. Mobile wallets such as Maya, GCash, GrabPay, BancNet are also available as alternate payment methods.
When do I have to pay for my tickets?
Tickets have to be paid immediately upon purchase.
What type of tickets can I buy?
The following passes are now available.
Follow My Team Pass
1. Follow My Team Philippines includes Gilas Pilipinas’ five (5) Group Phase games at the Araneta Coliseum, Manila, except April 25, when the game will be played in Philippine Arena.
2. Follow My Team USA includes Team USA’s five (5) Group Phase games at the , Manila.
3. Follow My Team passes for the other qualified teams who will be playing in Manila will be open for selling in the Philippines after the draw on April 29, 2023.
Finals SUPER FAN and ULTIMATE FAN Passes
There are two (2) Finals Phase Passes available, which includes Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Final game (including the third-place game). Please see full details at the FIBA website: https://register.worldcup.basketball/
Gilas Day Pass
Gilas Day Pass allows you to select the date you want to watch the Gilas Pilipinas team play in the first round of the Group Phase. Gilas Pilipinas games are scheduled on 25th, 27th and 29th of August 2023. Gilas Day pass is only valid on the day you have selected. It cannot be used on any other dates.
In addition to watching the Gilas game, Gilas Day Pass holders are entitled to watch the other game scheduled on that date. Please note that competition schedules and match ups will be released after the World Cup Draw on April 29, 2023
2-Day Pass
2-Day Passes allow you to watch 4 games on two consecutive days at the , or at the Araneta Coliseum
You can choose from the following dates:
August 25 and 26
August 27 and 28
August 29 and 30
August 31 and September 1
September 2 and 3
Gilas Pilipinas will play on August 25 in Philippine Arena and on August 27 and 29 at the Araneta Coliseum and Team USA will play on August 26, 28, 30 at the . Regardless of their positions after the first round of Group Phase, you will be able to see Gilas Pilipinas in Araneta Coliseum if you purchase the Plan D 2 Day Pass (Aug 31 and Sep 1) or Plan E 2 Day Pass (Sep 2 and 3, and Team USA In if you purchase Plan I 2 Day Pass (Aug 31 and Sep 1) or Plan J 2 Day Pass (Sep 2 and 3). if Please note that competition schedules and match ups will be released after the World Cup Draw on April 29, 2023.
I want to follow all my team's games; how can I do that?
Most of the Follow My Team Packages are available and for sale at the official FIBA website, https://followmyteam.worldcup.basketball/. Once the draw is held on April 29th 2023, you will know exactly in what venue and country your team is playing.
All Follow My Team Packages include the 5 games where your team plays in the Group Stage.
USA and Philippines have already been allocated to play in the Philippines, therefore, you can purchase their Follow my Team Packages here: https://philippines.worldcup.basketball/.
How many tickets can I order?
There is no limit per purchase. A buyer can purchase as much tickets/packages for the FIBA World Cup 2023.
What ticket categories are available?
Currently, seats available are in category 2 to 5. After the April 29, 2023, draw, all seats in Category 1-5 will become available.
How do I choose my seats?
Seat numbers will be automatically assigned to the pass holders in June 2023.
Are there reduced prices for children, senior citizens, or persons with disabilities (PWDs) and special requirements?
All children, regardless of age, must be in possession of a full priced ticket, if they want to avail of a seat. Children no taller than three (3) feet can enter the venue for free but will have to sit on their parent’s / guardian’s lap.
Senior citizens and PWDs have to purchase their ticket online at full price but can have access to the 20% discount on the day of the event by approaching the box office and presenting valid identification. For senior citizens: either their Senior Citizen ID or any valid government ID with birthdate. For PWDs: their government issued PWD ID. A new ticket will be issued, and the discount applied. This special discount only applies to Filipino citizens.
Persons with special requirements (ie wheelchair) can purchase 2 tickets to include an accompanying person.
I have special requirements (e.g. wheelchair); are there designated seating available?
Dedicated areas for people with special requirements will be made available after the draw on April 29, 2023.
How do I buy group tickets?
If you want to make a group purchase of more than 50 tickets for a package, we advise you to contact us via mail fbwc2023@sbp.ph so we can help you in this process.
Are tickets personal or can they be given to another person?
All tickets are associated with the purchaser, and the as owners of the tickets they will have the right to transfer one or all of the tickets to other people, who will then become owners of the ticket. Transfer of ownership of ticket should be made 24 hours before the game. We will send you an email in the following months to guide you through the ticket transfer process.
Purchasers will have access to their tickets in the following months, and they will be able to create an account to manage their tickets.
How and when will I receive my tickets?
Once the draw is held on April 29th, everyone who has already purchased tickets will have them available in their accounts (in June 2023, exact day to be confirmed). Instructions on how to access your account will be emailed to you when your tickets are available. When tickets start selling in a numbered format, all clients will receive their ticket immediately after purchase.
Can I resell my Tickets or use them for commercial purposes?
Reselling tickets or using them for commercial purposes is not allowed.
Can I buy or source Tickets from any third party other than official FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 sales outlets?
Currently, official tickets for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 can only be bought at https//register.worldcup.basketball/, https://philippines.worldcup.basketball , and http://followmyteam.worldcup.basketball. If other official vendors become available, they will always be announced on our official website.
Can tickets be refunded?
An order cannot be cancelled; all sales are final. Tickets will only be refunded for causes directly attributable to the organization.
Venue Change Information
Have any venue changes been made?
The games that were scheduled at the Araneta Coliseum on August 25, 2023 will now be played in Philippine Arena in Sta. Maria Bulacan, Philippines. Also, the Final Phase has now been moved from Philippine Arena to Mall of Asia Arena.
Is my pass affected by the change of venue?
The following five packages have been affected by the change of venue:
I purchased one of the affected passes, what are the changes in my pass?
Follow My Team Philippines: Team Gilas will play 5 games in the Group Phase. The first game day which is on August 25, 2023 will NOW be played at the Philippine Arena. The rest of the four games of Team Gilas will remain at the Araneta Coliseum.
Gilas Day Pass 1: Only Gilas Day Pass 1 (August 25), has been affected by the change of venue. The two games included in this pass will NOW be played in Philippine Arena instead of Araneta Coliseum. The other Gilas Day Passes (August 27 and August 29) are not affected by the change of venue.
2-Day Pass: Only Plan A (August 25-26), has been affected by the change of venue. The two games played on August 25 will NOW be played in Philippine Arena instead of Araneta Coliseum, but the other two games played on August 26 WILL REMAIN in Araneta Coliseum. All the other 2 Day Passes (Plan B – C – D – E – F – G – H – I – J) are not affected by the change of venue.
Finals Super Fan Pass: All scheduled games will NOW be played at the Mall of Asia Arena instead of Philippine Arena.
Finals Ultimate Fan Pass: All scheduled games will NOW be played at the Mall of Asia Arena instead of Philippine Arena.
I would like to refund Day 1 but will keep the rest of my pass – can I do this?
I would like to refund the whole pass bundle – can I do this?
I would like to move or exchange my Gilas Day Pass or my 2-Day Pass to a different day – can I do this?
If I want more information about this venue change and my pass, what can i do?
